How to Invest in MEPT

MEPT is valued quarterly, at which time a new Unit Value is determined based on the income and appreciation growth of the Fund. At that time, pension plan investors may purchase or sell Units of MEPT at the current Unit Value. There is no minimum client investment amount or account balance required, and no charge to exit the Fund.

Mike Keating is a Managing Partner and currently serves as the Senior Portfolio Manager for the BGO Diversified US Property Fund, the BGO MEPT Fund, and the BGO Daily Value Fund. Prior to his role in portfolio management, Mr. Keating was an acquisitions officer focusing on East Coast transactions. Since joining BGO and predecessor entities in 2004, Mr. Keating has been involved in over $17 billion of real estate investments across all property types and currently serves on the Firm’s U.S. management committee.
In addition to BGO, Mr. Keating has worked as an acquisitions officer at MRP Realty Partners and in the Real Estate group at Allied Capital.
Mr. Keating received a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan and an MS in Real Estate Finance from Johns Hopkins University.

Chris Niehaus is a Managing Partner and Chairman of the U.S. business for BGO. Chris is a member of the Global Management Committee and is a member of BGO’s investment committees in U.S., Asia, Europe and Canada as well as for Strategic Capital Partners.
Chris previously was a partner and Head of the US at GreenOak Real Estate, a predecessor firm to BGO. Before GreenOak, Chris spent 28 years at Morgan Stanley where he helped build and run one of the leading global real estate banking, lending, and investing businesses. Chris serves as non-Executive Chairman of WP Carey, a ~$25 billion enterprise value NYSE REIT.
Chris holds an AB from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Amy Price is Co-president of BGO. In her role, Amy oversees its U.S. and Canadian businesses, and works closely with the Capital Raising team. Amy is a member of the Global Executive Team, the Management Committee, and the US Investment Committees. Amy also leads BGO’s equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) initiatives globally and chairs the firm’s EDI Leadership Council.
Prior to joining the firm in 2012, Amy was a managing director and head of real estate investing for the western U.S. at Morgan Stanley, where she was an Investment Committee member, and built the real estate investment management business in San Francisco. Amy also spent time in Morgan Staley’s New York and Hong Kong offices.
Amy is a member of the Global Board of Directors of Urban Land Institute (ULI), and a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of AFIRE. She is also involved in philanthropic endeavors, as a member of the Board of Directors of the YMCA of San Francisco, the National Charity League with her daughter, and Service Corp with her son.
Amy holds an MBA with distinction from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and graduated magna cum laude from Colgate University.

Melanie Domres is President of NewTower Trust and Chairperson of the NewTower Board of Directors as of January 2024. Prior to her position as President, Melanie served as NewTower’s Chief Operating Officer.
Melanie has more than 35 years of real estate experience in operations, development, and transactions as well as organizational leadership at multiple DC area real estate firms. Prior to joining NewTower, Melanie was Managing Director and Sector Lead of U.S. multifamily at BGO for all of its U.S. fund clients. Prior to joining BGO in 2018, Melanie was a Senior Vice President of Cafritz Interests LLC, a full-service DC-area real estate firm. While there, she launched the multifamily development and property management subsidiaries. Prior to her 11 years at Cafritz, Melanie held positions in asset management, development and finance with Kettler, Archon Group (now Goldman Sachs) and Credit Suisse.
Melanie served as Board Chairman for Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia and as a member of the Advisory Board for Canvas Living, an Australian property development company. She is also an active member and former board member of CREW DC and also is a ULI Multi-Family Product Council participant. Melanie received her M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in Political Science from Stanford University.
